Pileated Woodpecker
In the woods feasting on insects. They are around this part of Massachusetts but, this was a first on our property. I stood away; it was 'stretch' with the 300mm lens.
Alpaca - Huacaya
I believe this is one of the two. Easily confused with the Llama. Alpacas and Llamas do cross-breed and the offspring is the Huacaya. Interesting that they are part of the camel species of South American Camel.
White-throated Sparrow
Whistler of the North. Common here in the northeast US but to us, this was the first time spotted here in Marlborough, MA, USA. A lovely treet Taken outside and thru a home office window.
Eastern Skunk Cabbage
Symplocarpus foetidus. Pretty plant. It will give off a strong odor only if the leaves/stems are broken. Just let it be.
