On a Friday morning.
Bikeway on the left.
Along the way.
Clock Tower, Arlington
Heading into town at 11am. The bell was ringing.
One of a few busy intersections to cross. All are 'biker friendly'. No worries, just need to be patient.
Native son. Born close by... He became "Uncle Sam".
Monument in Arlington
Didn't get close enough.
Charles River, Arlington
It was such a hot day and this was very tempting.
Sail Boat House across the way. Apparently, no one had launched yet.
Arlington's Great Meadow
North Cambridge Trail Head
The Arlington end of the bikeway. Kind of 'anti-climatic' but well worth the ride. I did not continue to the actual MBTA Station as it was not noticeable from this point.
Concrete and Pavement
Mix of urban and suburban on this trail.
Busy but a nice place to stop.
Several along the bikeway.
Perhaps, but lots of algae.
Perhaps, but the Swans didn't mind the algae.
No one knew the name or the grades housed of the school.
Arlington's Great Meadows
Looking in the direction of the town center.
Lexington Center Depot’s Train Shed
Trains once passed under that structure. Now part of the bikeway and the building is the town's visitor center.
