MH-60T Jayhawk
One of six fleet-wide to be painted in this chrome yellow 'retro' scheme of the late 1940's to early 1950's. This aircraft is based out of Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod and will remain in this scheme until 2020. An extremely long shot using the Sigma 150-600mm lens.

Kaman K-MAX
Kaman Aircraft. Apparently, the US Navy is no longer interested in the manned version of this aircraft for VERTREP duties. The USMC has purchased two (unmanned) and have used them quite successfully in A'Stan. This one was spotted in Simsbury CT. Video capture.

Cessna L19/O-1E Bird Dog
Production commenced in 1950, this is one of 3,431 produced. A veteran of both Korea and Vietnam, this series of aircraft has long been retired from military use. Scanned from ~35 year old slide.

P-3C Orion
Current Navy sub hunter. In the process of being replaced by the P-8A Poseidon, the Orion still has many years of service remaining. As a Mechanical Designer in a previous life, I had designed a small Printed Circuit Board for the Update II version of this aircraft. This aircraft has been flying since the early 1960's and with constant updates, still thrives today. The airframes, basic Lockheed Electra, has not been produced in many years, are getting old.
